The season begins

 So the season finally began. This is when everyone cheers for their team to win it all. There are about 30 teams out in the NBA trying to get as many wins as possible for one reason only. The playoffs, but for now they need to play their hardest on the court. Every game matters from the begining to the end. Now you might think it could get boring watching the same team playing the same people. But every off season, free agency comes around. Some of the good players out there might be a free agent. And that is when every one is trying to make a good deal to make the player join their team. Also the draft helps introduce new players into the NBA. SO the teams may have changed after the off season, even if the team is good now or bad. So how about you grab your controller and start watching some NBA!

Choices and More

 One main reason to become a good basket ball player is to pick who you want to pick as your choice. I am talking about shoe deals and drinks. For example Nike or Jordan, Gatorade or Sprite. Not only will you be more famous and be shown as a better basket ball player, but you will get even more money then you were getting before. Now how do these deals come? You might have to be trying even harder than you are now. You have to be playing at your hardest and be playing the best you can for a long time. And maybe one day your agent will let you know the news. But it isn't so easy once again. Not only do you have to be playing your hardest but that isn't all. You see if you are playing really good, the top shoe brands will want you. And not just one, but usually two brands of a company will want you. So now it doesn't matter about if you are good at this point, you already proved that you are good. But it matters which brand will it be. So, will it be Nike or Jordan?

Becoming a legend

  Well lets talk about what everyone wants out of the NBA, becoming a legend. Every one wants to be famous for being the best player or the next big thing. It could take you 2 seasons or 5 seasons to be the greatest. And others, it never happens. Now how do you become a legend. Practice and practice and practice, for a few hours every day. Not just in games, but you must keep doing what you are doing. Also the off season is just a break, but not really. Every player on off season is working their butts off to become a better player for the next season. The bad player become good and the good players are becoming better and better every season. This is how NBA player get better and better.

Drafts and Players

 Before starting to play in the NBA, there is something called a draft. Well what is a draft? A draft is a pick system. Before the draft several players who want to get in the NBA play a game. The coaches see who players intrest them the most. Then the draft comes, it shows all the players names and the numbers of how good they played. They will call out the names of the players and be the next big thing. There are many opportunities to come for these players, like choosing between a shoe company or drink company. You know some of these players might not be the best when they start off, but they could be a superstar when they get on the court. Or they could just be a regular player that no one talks about, ya it is a little harsh but it's true. But all of those players and I mean all of them, play there butts off to become better and better. It takes a while to be the next big thing, but at the end it's worth it. Everyone screaming your name "MVP, MVP, MVP!!!' I'm pretty sure that wraps up that, i hope you learned about drafts..Bye.

Hello my name is Michael Danialian. I am 12 years old and love to play ball. Basket ball is one of my favorite hobbies to do. I love it because you get to play with your friends and have funny games together. One thing you should know is that, I am obsessed with the color red. Any thing that i get that has to do with a color it's going to be red! I just love the color and how it looks on everything. I was born in NYC, that's right the Big Apple. I have a great family, they are crazy but who's family isn't at this point. I have two sisters, one is 17 and the other is 22. Ya they could get annoying, but they are always there for me. I am Jewish if you didn't know, well which you probably didn't but now you know right? Well I'm pretty sure you know me a lot more, which makes me happy. What is Basketball?

First I want to start off and say what is basketball? Basketball is one of the most popular sport in the world. Everyone loves watching it and even playing it. Basketball is a great exercise, but it can get intnse at some points. You know basketball is very fun, but it isn't all about having fun. Some people take it very seriously and competitive. NBA players for example work harder and harder, some struggle but others just need to practice more. When they practice they do it for themselves to work harder and harder to win their games. Once they win, they go off to the playoffs. The playoffs get even more serious. Ya basketball isn't that easy you know? It takes a lot of hard work to become better and better.
